These days everyone, fashion buffs or middle aged house moms, are running their cheap heels off to the nearest H&M store to get their greedy hands on limited edition Roberto Cavalli couture.. and I bet not even half of them even knew this man existed before H&M started advertising his name..
But why am I not one of them you might say? Leopard, zebra and tiger-prints should indeed be right up my alley, yes, that may be… but not at any cost.. and to be honest! The H&M Cavalli collection has max 1 or 2 items that actually fit a tall, slender, curvy and hot chick like me. It seems the ever so fantastic designer has thought about the plump and grey gals living around the globe when he designed this line..
Nah.. Roberto Cavalli or not – I’m not about to pay NOK3000,- for a dress that doesn’t fit me at all just because everyone is going bananas around me. ‘Cause honestly, people, the Cavalli line is NOT all THAT!… disappointing, bad fitted and frumpy does indeed describe these garments best.
I’m going to avoid H&M at all cost these next few weeks.. just walking by and laughing at these crazy women tearing sweaters apart and yelling at each other to get a hold of something with “Cavalli” on… perhaps I’ll even wear my Roberto Cavalli sunglasses on my afternoon stroll…
